Our Network

Integrating Ireland is an independent network of community and voluntary groups working in mutual solidarity to promote and to realise the human rights, equality, and full integration of refugees, people seeking asylum, migrants and immigrants in Ireland.

Currently we have over 180 member groups located in many counties throughout the country. The work of these members varies from service, support or information provision; advocacy, sports, arts, and community development projects; as well as representative organizations of new communities. Many members work at local level while others are nationally based organsiations.

In our strategic plan of 2005-2009 the organisation aimed to increase its resources to facilitate support and activity at a regional level. The Integrating Ireland network is divided into five regional areas to enable regional networking of our members. The networks include the Western Alliance, the South East, the South West, the North East, Midlands and Cross Border region and the Dublin Kildare network.

Integrating Ireland also works to foster ongoing national networking, ensuring the participation of our members in policy development, research and facilitating the sharing of information and good practice throughout our membership.

The Integrating Ireland Networking Team works aims to facilitate this work. Staff members include a Regional Network Coordinator, four Outreach and Development Regional Officers, an Organisational Development Training Officer 2007-08 and part-time Network Events Administrator.
